Inline Lever/Lever

The sprung lever is also adjustable to fit a wide range of locks. This is particularly beneficial in doors with smaller door frames where the cylinder is located further back. A lever that is shorter is a good choice for doors where the latch could be opened by a thumb turn located on the inside.

Lever Pad

The lever pad upvc handle differs from the lever handles that are commonly found on doors. The handle can work off one single spindle (inline) or independently from each side by using two offset or inline spindles (pad). They are generally employed on UPVC double glazing handle glazed doors and are available in a variety of variations and finishes.

The handles are available in various finishes, including White chrome and Gold. The finish is BS EN 1670 Grade 5 and is resistant to corrosion. This gives the handle an outstanding performance and durability for its intended use.

All of the upvc handle window lever pad designs are supplied with screws and a spindle, allowing them to be put on any new or existing uPVC door. The backplate fixing centres of 211mm allow for a wider size of handle which can often be a benefit when replacing a damaged or worn multi-point door lock mechanism. These handle levers are also spring-loaded, which solves the issue of door handles sagging out of the horizontal position when not in use.

External and internal doors require different levels of security.

These spring cassettes have been specifically designed for use with sprung multipoint locks They will not work with unsprung multipoint handles and you will need to have a bespoke hole cut into your backplate in order for them to fit (please see image for technical diagram). These cassettes are a solution for damaged or missing cassettes in the backplate of uPVC door handles. They are supplied in a single unit. They feature a square cut out that accommodates an 8mm shaft.
