World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The item upgrade item lets players boost the gear rating of an Item Upgrader kit up to 700 points and add a bonus. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you decide to take them to the Kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading due to their unique stats. (For instance the perfect rolled breakpoint armor used in melee PvP). Other items like weapons don't change much after an upgrade and therefore aren't worth the effort.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can improve their numerical stats, like attack damage, crit chance, and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons also have a flat bonus which increases the damage they deal per second. In addition, many weapons have an added bonus that is activated when three or more of the same weapon are present on a unit. In some instances, this bonus can add up to more than the amount of damage a weapon upgrades on its own.

The cost of upgrading a weapon's capabilities is contingent on the nature of the weapon as well as its current level. For instance, a +2 weapon requires two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a weapon will continue to increase until it is required to use an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones, at which the amount will be reset to one.

The upgrade of weapons can also change their base stats. This is generally a positive aspect, but it may also have negative consequences. For items that are only used in a specific build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs for instance) upgrading them can render them useless unless you have an extremely fortunate roll.

Upgrades can be made to armor items to improve their stats. This will increase the base defense of a helm or chest as well as belts and gloves. These will boost their required strength and agility. Armor also has a reroll option for its Enhanced Defense percent, which means that it could change its roll to a lower value.

The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading in addition to their respective values. This means that a weapon will gain an attack damage of 3% if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% does not mean that the weapon will hit 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon is possible by pressing the green button within the Best item upgrade menu using the arrows that circle. This will roll the item and change its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's levels or tie it to the account status.

Armor

A few armor upgrades can make a huge difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets offer massive increases in resistance to curses, poisons fire, magic, and other. This can make it easier to navigate difficult terrains. In general, the greater defense your character has, the more value you get from each point of health you possess, so it's important to upgrade your armor as often as you can.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting any of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four Great Fairy Fountains available in the game, and to unlock each one you must complete a side quest that involves the Stable Trotters. After you've completed the main side quest and mastered the fountain in question and then you can talk to any Great Fairy to open up the armor upgrading menu.

The amount of materials needed to upgrade each piece of armor will differ. In general, you'll need at anything from three to five Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, and then anywhere from five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, as an example, can be upgraded to an increase of 5 defense rating, which will allow you to keep up in frigid environments with a large number of enemies. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other is able to be upgraded to +20 defense so that you're able to survive a battle with your comrades.

You can't upgrade armor in the same way as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior it is Best item upgrader to focus on upgrading your armor for physical power or the power of spells. Potions

Potions are liquids that when consumed by the player, give an immediate effect. There are five kinds of potions, each with different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to enhance their level of effectiveness. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by adding redstone dust and glowstone dust.

Upgrades to potion require a certain amount of XP. This can be earned through crafting them on a crafting table or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. The price of upgrades changes depending on what type of potion you'd like to upgrade, as well as on the item's Mark Level as well as its rarity.

To upgrade a potion simply right-click on it in your inventory. Select "Upgrade" from the menu. Trinkets

In addition to armor, weapons, and potions, players are able to upgrade their trinkets. These can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. Unlike other item upgrades trinkets are able to be swapped out at will without losing their stats.

Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of every zone, and in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are offered with tokens, gold or fragments of trinkets that are rare.

Upgrades are a cost-effective alternative to buying a brand new trinket. One can upgrade their trinket for as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket has the same level of base as the old trinket, but will also have an additional bonus of 1% upgrade.

Once the old Trinkets have become no longer useful, they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players, making them an attractive alternative to gold.

In general players should make upgrades to their most important items first. This means that the top-in slot items for each class are upgraded first, followed by their secondary gear and finally other equipment that they won't replace anytime soon (such as rings or cloaks). Players should also consider their class's preferred stats when selecting which items to upgrade. For example If Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tanks it is recommended that they upgrade their chest, helm shoulders, belt, and chest.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded to a higher level once they're no longer needed and the new trinket will receive an additional upgrade bonus of 1. However, a re-upgrade is likely to destroy the old trinket, unless it is salvaged with the Black Lion Salvage Kit or an alternative salvage tool that is higher-end. This makes upgrading trinkets more expensive than other upgrades, but is still cheaper than purchasing an entirely new trinket.
